At the theatre: vintage inspiration
Posted in Fashion » Fashion Blog » Fashion Pictures » Fashion PictureSomething that hasn't really come back around, in recent memory, is the skirt suit as eveningwear. I think this comes down to a desire to put as much individuality and creativity in our outfits as possible. To don a simple dress or a matching suit doesn't display the same kind of flair as to don an assortment of mis-matching pieces and manage to bring them together in a stylish and unique way. Part the influence of the street style phenomenon, and driven by the internet in general, the desire to pick-and-mix our outfits - high end mixed with low end, vintage mixed with new, casual mixed with formal - is a relatively new and certainly an ongoing one. Does that preclude the skirt suit from making a comeback? Not really - what goes around, comes around, after all.

Protect Yourself With Pamela Love's New Collection
We love to love Pamela Love, so it's no big shocker that her spring '11 collection had us circling potential holiday presents for ourselves in one minute flat. She's still getting her creative juices from tribal Indian and Africa, but this time, rather than channeling warriors, the jewelry is more spiritual, less violent. As always, brass, sterling silver, and antique bronze run rampant through pieces that were inspired by the tribes belief in jewelry as a form of protection. There's a spike necklace with quartz crystals for healing, a three finger ring with chakra-cleansing sapphires, and some pretty intense pentagrams to ward off evil. Also on tap? Tony Braxton Reveals Lupus DiagnoseIt seems that celebrity singer Tony Braxton has been dealing with a lot of problems the last couple of years and now Tony has been diagnosed with lupus!
It seems that the well known American singer Tony Braxton has been dealing with a possibly life-threatening disease. Tony Braxton revealed lupus diagnose at a lupus awareness and research luncheon, the 8th Annual bag Ladies Luncheon, and this came as a shocker. Knowing you might die is not something easy for anyone but we are surprised on Tony Braxton's strength to make the announcement public.
Lupus is a autoimmune system disease which can affect a variety of organs and not only such as heart, lungs, kidneys, skin, blood cells and joints. There are basically 4 types of lupus: systemic, discoid, drug-induced and neonatal. The symptoms vary from individual to individual and we hope that everything will work out for the talented singer as well as everyone who suffers from this frightening disease.
Tony Braxton made the announcement after receiving a Women in Achievement award by saying: ?Take a look, this is what lupus looks like?.
Unfortunately Tony Braxton has been diagnosed with pericarditis in 2008, an inflammation of the pericardium which is the fibrous sac which surrounds the heart. This inflammation leads to chest pain, palpitations and high blood pressure.
Also in 2008 Tony Braxton suffered a surgical intervention to have a benign tumor removed from her breast. These were probably the reasons why Tony Braxton hasn't been seen on too many concerts.
Celebrities such as Lady Gaga have expressed their sympathy for Tony Braxton; Lady Gaga was diagnosed ?borderline positive? for lupus, as she has some family members suffering from this disease but Gaga is fine so far, but she needs to take really good care of her health!
We hope a cure for lupus will be discovered and that people will help donate for the research and treatment of this life threatening disease!

It seems that the well known American singer Tony Braxton has been dealing with a possibly life-threatening disease. Tony Braxton revealed lupus diagnose at a lupus awareness and research luncheon, the 8th Annual bag Ladies Luncheon, and this came as a shocker. Knowing you might die is not something easy for anyone but we are surprised on Tony Braxton's strength to make the announcement public.
Lupus is a autoimmune system disease which can affect a variety of organs and not only such as heart, lungs, kidneys, skin, blood cells and joints. There are basically 4 types of lupus: systemic, discoid, drug-induced and neonatal. The symptoms vary from individual to individual and we hope that everything will work out for the talented singer as well as everyone who suffers from this frightening disease.
Tony Braxton made the announcement after receiving a Women in Achievement award by saying: ?Take a look, this is what lupus looks like?.
Unfortunately Tony Braxton has been diagnosed with pericarditis in 2008, an inflammation of the pericardium which is the fibrous sac which surrounds the heart. This inflammation leads to chest pain, palpitations and high blood pressure.
Also in 2008 Tony Braxton suffered a surgical intervention to have a benign tumor removed from her breast. These were probably the reasons why Tony Braxton hasn't been seen on too many concerts.
Celebrities such as Lady Gaga have expressed their sympathy for Tony Braxton; Lady Gaga was diagnosed ?borderline positive? for lupus, as she has some family members suffering from this disease but Gaga is fine so far, but she needs to take really good care of her health!
We hope a cure for lupus will be discovered and that people will help donate for the research and treatment of this life threatening disease!
