After 13 unforgettable years as a Victoria's Secret Angel, Heidi Klum is saying "auf Wiedersehen" to the lingerie brand.
According to the New York Post's Page Six, the 37-year-old model-cum-mogul is amicably parting ways, and told the paper:
"All good things have to come to an end. I will always love Victoria and never tell her secret. It's been an absolute amazing time."
And the feeling is mutual. "Heidi will always be an Angel," Ed Razek, President and Chief Marketing Officer of Limited Brands (parent company of Victoria's Secret) told StyleList.
Klum, of course, has been a major attraction both in VS catalogs and the giant Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, making a semi-surprise appearance last year in a body-hugging bustier dress just five weeks after giving birth to her fourth child.
And who can forget the cringe-worthy duet Klum and husband Seal performed at the 2007 show or the model's envy-inducing abs and gravity-defying cleavage trotting down the runway in a variety of over-the-top costumes (light-up bra-and-panty sets, a giant silver snowflake, etc.). Indeed, it's the end of an era.
Sources tell Page Six that Klum is leaving to focus on her "Project Runway" empire and new fitness clothing line, and won't be walking at this year's show, which will be broadcast on CBS on Nov. 30 (get a sneak peek at the 2010 costumes here).
And, of course, she's not the only Angel who'll be down and out.
Both Miranda Kerr and Doutzen Kroes will be seven months pregnant by that time, which most likely means newbies Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Chanel Iman, Candice Swanepoel, and Erin Heatherton, along with vets (and new moms) Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, will be taking the lead.

Sephora Launches BeautyTalk, an Online Community for the Beauty Obsessed

Say you're in the market for a lipstick.
Imagine a place where you can ask for your friends' feedback on their favorite brand, get advice from a pro on the shade that looks best on you, watch a video on how to apply it, buy the lipstick you choose, and then upload a haul video after you finally take the plunge.
It's online shopping intersecting with the likes of Facebook, Youtube and Twitter, and it's exactly what Sephora is going after with the launch of BeautyTalk, an online community catering to the specific needs of the beauty obsessed.
Today, the LVMH-owned beauty retailer will unveil the beta version of this interactive beauty space, which can be accessed from a tab on Sephora.com called "Beauty Advice," as well as a tab on their Facebook page.
"We thought about what a community of beauty shoppers would want," Julie Bornstein, senior vice president of Sephora Direct, told StyleList in a telephone interview. "You can ask any beauty question to be answered by your peers or by Sephora experts. You can join a conversation on any topic, as broad a dry skin or as specific as oily skin that breaks out when you're in your 30s."
The community will merge both professional and real-women advice for clients to engage in the medium they feel most comfortable. Users can trade advice on discussion boards, ask questions to online experts, watch video tutorials from the Sephora Pro Team, get tips from celebrities, and read relevant articles from Sephora's blog, Beauty and the Blog. "What's interesting is it offers both expert advice and peer advice," said Bornstein. "We want you to use which you prefer, or both."

The pro advice will be served up by a small group of highly trained employees from Sephora's call center who will not only man the BeautyTalk boards, but answer questions on the company's Facebook and Twitter pages as well. Sephora took a card from social media retail innovators outside of the beauty space while formulating this plan - Starbucks and Zappos.com both have employees dedicated to the community frontier.
Sephora first saw a space for BeautyTalk after launching Ratings and Reviews on their site in 2008. The response was immediate, and massive - Bare Escentuals' BareMinerals Foundation garnered about 1000 reviews on the first day - and, according to Bornstein, the most highly reviewed product now has over 15,000 reviews, with total reviews on the site nearing 825,000.
Clients clearly want to talk, and they took their discussion to Sephora's Facebook page, which has grown to 801,000 fans since its launch in 2008, and every day hosts active discussions on its wall.
The most active users were deftly maneuvering between the Sephora Ratings and Reviews page, Sephora's Facebook page, MakeupAlley.com (a popular beauty discussion board), and Youtube, where beauty devotees post "haul" videos showcasing the makeup and hair items they've bought on recent shopping trips. BeautyTalk will tie together all of these social media mediums, using technology developed by Lithium -- a company that specializes on social media customer relationship programs -- that aims to surpass competitors with better archiving technology, and a more robust and user-friendly experience.

"I want our clients to be able to get any questions they wanted answered while leveraging the value of huge population of Sephora shoppers," said said Bornstein. "Our Facebook wall became a space for doing exactly that. People answered each others' questions." Sephora's banking that BeautyTalk will attract these same aficionados.
And if you want to talk about a product that's not sold at Sephora? Not a problem. "People can talk about any product they want," said Bornstein. "We're not trying to control the conversation. We're excited to offer up the place where beauty lovers to get all the information they need."
Beauty talk will evolve over time, and retail shopping will eventually be integrated into the space. Users will be able to mouse over product mentions to see the image and click to buy. And the customer reviews will be used throughout Sephora.com, with relevant discussions and Q&A's around, say, a mascara, surfacing on its product page.
"We're leveraging technology to make shopping experience better," said Bornstein.

And if you want to talk about a product that's not sold at Sephora? Not a problem. "People can talk about any product they want," said Bornstein. "We're not trying to control the conversation. We're excited to offer up the place where beauty lovers to get all the information they need."
Beauty talk will evolve over time, and retail shopping will eventually be integrated into the space. Users will be able to mouse over product mentions to see the image and click to buy. And the customer reviews will be used throughout Sephora.com, with relevant discussions and Q&A's around, say, a mascara, surfacing on its product page.
"We're leveraging technology to make shopping experience better," said Bornstein.

Professional football may be a sport played by men, but that doesn't mean women don't want to get in on the action.
As the NFL season heats up, women everywhere are suiting up in their team colors to support their favorite players, and that often means borrowing from their boyfriends' and husbands' closets.
But this year, the NFL is scoring major style points among female fans with its Fit for You campaign, featuring wives and daughters of some of the league's top players, coaches, and team executives wearing sporty but fashionable styles.
The Fit for You apparel line goes way beyond oversized jerseys and T-shirts, offering clothing you can wear to the stadium on Sunday or while you're out running errands, at the gym, or just hanging with friends.
The collection is a winner with fitted jackets, T-shirts with tied shoulder slits, vintage-inspired hooded long-sleeve shirts, off-the-shoulder fleece crew necks, yoga-style pants, cinched winter coats, burnout tees, and more.
And if you'd like to add a little kick to your look, you can accessorize with metal handbags made from recycled license plates, watches, military-style hats, hoodie purses made from sweatshirts, bangle bracelets, socks, necklaces, and earrings.
Prices range from about $4 for socks to $150 for a metal purse. Most shirts are in the $30-$40 range.

The fresh and feminine world of Marc Jacobs' Daisy is perfectly captured in a new ad campaign photographed by his longtime collaborator, German photographer Juergen Teller.

The new ad launched in the October magazines and will appear on the company's website beginning October 1st, but we've got behind-the-scenes shots of models Frida Gustavsson and Sophie Srej frolicking among the daisies.
Set in the lush fields of Spain, the whimsical images are meant to tell the story of two enchanting girls who spend their days soaking up the sun and fresh air.
The models, armed with rosy cheeks, wind-whipped hair and flowing white dresses -- along with the occasional umbrella -- depict the playful, free-spirited nature of Daisy, a bright, floral fragrance that captures the happy essence of its namesake with sparkling notes of Strawberry, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Gardenia, Jasmine, and a vintage touch of Violet.
Daisy, which first launched in 2007, sits alongside Lola, the men's fragrance Bang, and the Marc Jacobs collection fragrances in the brand's scent portfolio. Gustavsson and Srej replace model Irina Kulikova, who's been the face of Daisy since its launch three years ago.

And why not? The lingerie themed pieces were hugely successful last time around - we've well and truly lost count of how many magazine pictorials they wound up in - not to mention something of a signature look for the duo. For those wanting more print in their hotpants and rompers, some florals and animal prints made their way into the collection as well.

Do not put too much ointment, just as much as the skin can absorb as excess cream can help develop bacteria, which is exactly what you are tying to avoid. You can try to move slowly the piercing up and down so the ointment can enter the pierced skin as well. Wipe the excess ointment with a soft and clean tissue.
If pus has formed turn to your physician as you might need to take antibiotics to help your body fight the bacteria. This is very important if you don't want any complications.

When winter comes, our skin becomes drier due to the fact that the cold weather outside destroys the lipid layer that protects the skin against dryness. As for our hair, this seems to reach its maximum level of frizz. Now it?s the best moment for us to take time and, without too much effort, to learn some winter care tips and tricks for face, body, and hair, which will help us get through the cold season looking healthy and beautiful.
In winter, even though the skin is our first defender against the aggressive external factors, our body suffers too. However, it seems that their biggest enemy is not the cold, but the inside/outside temperature variation. Still, it seems that this warm-cold alternation can also be beneficial, as it stimulates the micro-circulation, eliminates toxins, and energizes the cutaneous system. This, only when you respect a few winter care tips and tricks.
Body care
Even though it is protected by clothes, our body should be moisturized too. However, during cold winter days, a simple nourishing lotion is not enough. Try to replace the lotion your normally use by an oil or an extra-nourishing lotion in order to reestablish the hydrolipidic film. One helpful tip is to use some lavender oil while in the shower, or add just a few drops of olive oil in the bathtub. And try to avoid exfoliating too much, as it only makes your skin more fragile. Don?t forget the extremities. Our hands and feet need a special treatment during winter. Choose a very rich cream and apply it in the mornings and also in the evenings, according to dryness condition.

Contrary to what is thought, in winter, it is not the water that moisturizes, but fat. This is the only element that prevents water evaporation at cellular level acting as a protecting barrier against external factors. Also, replace your moisturizing cream with a more nourishing one. And you can change a little bit you common beauty ritual. For example, choose a cream for dry skin, if you have normal skin, and a cream for normal skin, if you have oily skin.
Dry skin is more fragile and this is why it needs double protection. Apply a rehydrating serum before applying the daily cream you normally use. It is important to use moisturizing creams especially if you have dry skin as this is prone to wrinkles. You can even protect them against cold and wind by covering them with a scarf. However, the best thing you can do is to always carry a lip balm with you.

This is why it is very important to use masks and special treatments for hair regeneration in order to nourish it. You can apply homemade masks or more professional ones. Ten episodes into the fourth season of "Mad Men" and the plot is thickening to nail-whittling levels, not in small part due to the unpredictable and revolutionary '60s setting.
While Peggy's quasi-beatnik wardrobe choices have had us captivated for a few episodes, the whip-smart copywriter was absent this time round, leaving room for the other dazzling women to really shine.
First up is the ever-dashing Joan, who is slowly starting to switch out her signature jewel-toned skintight dresses for, well, skintight floral dresses and printed blouses tucked into high-waisted skirts. While one might imagine '60s florals to be loud and bright, we're loving Joan's versions, which are relatively toned down.
In the opening scene, the red-haired siren dons a silky white tie-neck blouse with a gentle yellow, peach, and black floral pattern, and later wears a floral frock in a beautiful medley of burgundy, plum, turquoise, and pine green.
Other sartorial highlights include Betty dressed down in a casual white eyelet tank, loose gray plaid shorts, and her straight hair pulled back into a simple pony, and Peter Campbell's very pregnant wife Trudy in a hilarious pale pink powder puff of a nightgown featuring tulle tiers and a Lady Gaga-worthy sky-high hemline.
Aside from the killer getups on the main cast of characters, we loved when Don Draper and his British colleague Lane Pryce visited one of the storied Playboy Clubs.
Within the cocktail clubs, of course, are the Playboy Bunnies, who, feminist politics aside, are absolutely to die for in sculpted and high-waisted silk bustier suits in a variety of Skittles hues, accessorized with matching bunny ears, white collars and cuffs, and fluffy rabbit tails.
Since it's revealed that Pryce is dating one of the bunnies, we're hoping to get a few more peeks into the club as season 4 rages on. (If that doesn't happen -- and even if it does -- we are so buying Chronicle Books's new "50 Years of the Playboy Bunny" tome. Swoon!)

The resulting looks were exotic, classic and undeniably fitting for the season. And while it wasn't all eye-catching colour - with plenty of all-white outfits and subdued pastels rounding out the collection - it was certainly the brights that stand to be the most inspiring.

It's spirited, sexy, with an emphasis on movement and form; and it maintains that jetset appeal that makes your feet burn with wanderlust and your skin long for the cool water of some beachside paradise. For Spring 2011 the lace-up front dresses and shirts and the cutaway crochets reference '70s glamour while there's an overall exoticism to the accessories and rows of tiny tassels that line some of Dundas' dresses.

Job Center Tells Pierced, Tattooed Gal 'Put a Bag Over Your Face'

Hayley O'Neil, 23, may not have exactly cornered the market on dressed-for-success polish, but what she says happened to her at a UK employment center won't help her job search.
O'Neil, who has more than 20 body piercings (including multiple studs in her face) and 30 tattoos, claims a career adviser at Job Center Plus in Blackburn Lanc, England, told her to put a bag on her head, the Telegraph reports.
Was it at least a Gucci bag?
O'Neil, who got her first tattoo as an 18th birthday present from her mom, says the adviser told her, "Who would hire you looking like that?" and lectured her on first impressions. "He said: 'Look at it this way, if you were standing behind a wall or put a bag over your face do you think you would have a better chance?'"
A discouraged O'Neil says she offered to remove her piercings, even though it would make her look worse. She claims she left the job center humiliated and in tears, with no interviews lined up.
"He talked to me as if I was going through a phase in my life," she says. "This is a lifestyle choice and this is who I am."
A spokesman for the UK's Department for Work and Pensions claims nothing inappropriate was said to O'Neil, adding that she was just given standard work-search advice, including tips on appropriate workplace attire. (Um, since when has a bag over one's face become recommended office wear?)

As Milan Fashion Week continues its run of the Spring 2011 collections, we're noticing a continuation of the color explosion that we saw at the likes of Marc Jacobs, Peter Som, and L.A.M.B. during the New York shows.
Gucci was particularly vibrant with sharp suits and dresses with peek-a-boo cutouts in hues of amber, aqua, and purple. Brights were not a problem at Prada either, where the brand's matriarch Miuccia Prada encouraged individualism with tops adorned with monkey prints. (Take apart this collection and you'll actually unearth several wearable pieces.)
Moschino was filled with urban cowgirls, while Versace featured long-fringe gowns. (They, too, also opted for some peep-worthy slits in tight body-con dresses.)
Not every designer focused on Roy G. Biv ready-to-wear. Alberta Ferretti opted for a more ethereal approach with long wispy chiffon dresses and gowns in subtle shades.

Originally debuting in 1981, Max Mara's double-breasted camel coat with wide kimono sleeves has become an enduring icon.
Therefore, it's fitting that the company is using the wool and cashmere wonder, officially called the 101801, to launch its e-commerce business on maxmara.com.
Starting tomorrow, the long and luxurious winter coat will go on sale for $2,427 at the Italian fashion house's website, and can be personalized with a special lining and an embroidered monogram on the inside label. More items on the new e-commerce site will start trickling in soon after.
In addition to scoping out the 101801, Max Mara fans who rise early tomorrow should head to the site at 6:30am ET to watch a live stream of the brand's runway show straight from Milan Fashion Week.
