New Lupus Therapy Approval Coincides With Autoimmune Diseases Awareness Month

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Benlysta� (belimumab), a new biologic therapy developed to treat patients suffering from active, autoantibody-positive systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
