We want great quality clothes; but for our spend, we want them to be unique. With well-thought out stock that leans to the Avant Garde but is rooted firmly in reality and wearability, Cecylia has that market cornered.
Celebrating its official opening with a parade and a soiree of cupcakes and champagne, the store's namesake, Cecylia Kee, confirms that this is not the best place to head to if you're hunting basics. Rather, it's geared towards statement pieces, pieces that turn heads (for all the right reasons), pieces that incorporate texture and colour and uniqueness of cut. On the runway we saw a selection of such pieces along with some spring racing hats to match. Amoung the labels stocked are Australian favourites Karla Spetic, Gail Sorronda and Sophia Kokosalaki.
